Lauren Nalley

Alumni

Lauren is a researcher at the Center for Materials for Water and Energy Systems who is developing membrane technology to treat water from energy systems to reduce industrial pollution and enable water reuse. She earned B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia and spent two years doing electrochemical research on lead corrosion in water delivery pipes. That sparked her interest in water treatment and led her to pursue graduate degree(s) at UT Austin. Ph.D.
