Graduate Student
Raman is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He is working on biomimetic membranes in the lab of Dr. Manish Kumar and Dr. Benny Freeman. His research interest lies in utilising biological membranes for applications like water purification and breathable fabrics etc. He completed his undergraduate education at IIT Gandhinagar in Chemical Engineering and was awarded with Institute Silver Medal upon graduation. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., he worked for approximately two years in both industry and a research lab.
