Scott Shell, Professor and John Myers Founder's Chair at the University of California, Santa Barbara's Department of Chemical Engineering, was awarded the Outstanding Mentor Award from University of California, Santa Barbara's Academic Senate in recognition of exemplary contributions to mentoring. Recipients were chosen from a pool of nominations submitted by current graduate students, recent alumni, and colleagues.
